From the Time of Welte and Yet Timeless

The grand piano was completed on September 11, 1912 by Rud. Ibach Sohn, founded in 1794.

The instrument bears the description "FI-14, black polished ebony, 240 cm" and the catalog name "Small Concert Grand Piano Richard Wagner".

It was delivered to Berlin on the day of its completion and was located in what is today the University of Arts in Berlin as property of the city of Berlin until around 1980.

In 2007 it could be found in the Marienforster church in Bonn-Bad Godesberg.

General restoration was carried out in 2008 by piano-builder Jan Großbach in Frankfurt am Main.
